Tomorrow's Victorian Owners and Breeders Raceday is a $2 million dollar advertisement to buy locally at this Sunday's Inglis Vobis Gold Sale. The Caulfield meeting is made up of seven Super VOBIS-exclusive races along with two open-grade Stakes races, with connections racing for a share of prizemoney exceeding $2 million across the nine races, and huge Vobis bonuses in the restricted races.
Such is the benefit for the owner, in races such as the 2YO VOBIS Sires and the 3YO Sires, there is more prizemoney on offer for finishing 10th ($6000) than there is fourth ($5400) in the two Stakes events on the card.
With such prizemoney on offer under the Vobis bonus scheme, David and Coral will return to this weekend's Vobis Gold Sale, a sale that has seen them purchase the likes of Zoffany Rose ($21,000), Miss Entice ($12,000 - pic below) and Eighty Days ($11,500).
'This sale continues to grow each year and with such good money on offer through the Vobis scheme it will only get stronger. Some of the yearlings can be a bit immature or have a light pedigree page, however there is plenty of value here and the reward can be well worth it'. Said David Feek after shortlisting his catalogue.
'We have bought Zoffany Rose, Miss Entice and Eighty Days through this sale with the first two winners who will both continue to improve, and the other horse sold to Singapore after showing promise as a 3yo'.
David and Coral Feek will continue with inspections out at Oaklands Junctions across the weekend before the first lot goes through the ring at 10am on Sunday.
